H&H Anni Kake in a pipe I rarely smoke because of it's size. The pipe is a GBD Collector model 1689 bent apple with a broad rectangular shank and a rather unusual hand cut saddle type vulcanite stem with a brass rondelle set in the top of the stem. The Collector was one of their three plus size lines with the Colossus being the largest and the Collector second followed by Conquest. GBD pipes are notoriously difficult to date, but I believe this one to be from the late 60's.

One thing about this pipe though, like every Mastro De Paja I've had, the bowl tends to heat up quickly until you get a fair thickness of cake built up. If it's like the others it will take 5 or 6 bowls of Carter Hall to build the insulation I want in it. Just be patient and take it slow and you'll be rewarded with a fine smoker.

A couple minutes away from smoking STCoP Dobie’s Four Square Virginia in a 2016 PSF POY quarter bend black sandblasted Vermont Freehand egg with an aluminum band and amber tortoise saddle stem.
Just finished smoking Jim's Va/Bur in a 2015 Basil Meadows Bing Crosby Merchant Service replica with a smooth straight thin shank, aluminum band and black ebonite stem.
