Great stuff. I'm going to post my thoughts in the review section. It won't be a real legit review, as I have only had one bowl at this time, but I would like to share my initial thoughts anyway.

Just finished my bowl of Potlatch and thought I would share one of the things I love about the Calabash. Not only is it an excellent smoker, but it's the most efficient pipe I have ever smoked. These pics show the amount of unburnt tobacco left at the end of the bowl. Almost none.

Just finished smoking D&R Ryback in a 1970s smooth medium bend Stanwell Rego 969-48 Design Choice 837 sitter with a vulcanite stem and ferrule.
Nice restoration. Agree on the ugly but it's not a bad ugly :) Long as it smokes well, that's what matters.Quote:

Came home smoking a B&M blend burly-lite in a DG Savoy followed up with Carter Hall in a polish unmarked briar.It smokes fine just a bit bigger than I like.

Part way through this bowl of GQ Nottingham Lace Noir in a black pebble finish straight 2003 Cavicchi C. Fatto A Mano lovat. This will finish the stash and my supply of GQ blends. It was great while it lasted.
