My Escudo order won't arrive until Monday, and I want to open one of those as my next tin. But my current tin, F&T CVP, is getting low. So to stretch it, I've been smoking tobacco from a long-opened tin of Royal Yacht. It's dry as bone – crumbly – but, by golly, it's going down pretty good – better than I remember it being. This particular tin was cellared July, 2012. I've read that Royal Yacht was a favorite of Joe Stalin. :)
I'm working outside in the garden so I thought I would give this thing it's first bowl. I got it in a 7 or 8 auction lot of pipes out of Germany. Have no idea what it is, except that it has FRANCE on the base.......
