shopping without buying

I made the mistake of going in an antique shop to kill a little time at lunch. The only thing I took was pictures.

Wouldn't mind having A clay tavern pipe, but these and the rack were a package deal.


I'm getting low on CH but this felt empty.


These would be great under the outdoor herf shelter,


but I don't have an outdoor herf shelter...yet.

Just got my first tavern clay not long ago, and love it. If you like a dry smoke, those suckers deliver.

Shopping without buying; that's what my PAD therapy calls for. So far, I'm not very successful. If I find a nice pipe or associated smoking items (racks, pipe tools, etc.) at a flea market or antique store I usually buy it if the price is reasonable.

Same goes for one of those stand ash trays.

I'm a sucker for antiques already. Throw classic tobacco goodies in the mix and I'm done for.

I love cruising antique shops. We have a great one downtown that always has come kind of cool tobacco nostalgia action going on
