"Road Town" pipes

I see lots of Road Town pipes on Ebay but don't know much about them. Some of them look really nice, particular the ones with bamboo.

Does anyone have one? I'd like to hear what you have to say about it.

I was wondering about those a while back too.
If I recall correctly, commentary I found was mostly divided between:
1. Not bad, for the price.
2. Yuck. You're going to get nasty flavors.

I have not tried one for myself, though.
