Not sure if it's supposed to be someone - looks a little like Andrew Jackson.
So how does it smoke? Does the bowl get very hot?
I've looked at a few clay pipe sales,P&C has one now.
Just leary of wasting money on another pipe when I would rather pop for more tobacco.

Well this one was $1 + a few bux for shipping, so it doesn't offset too many other discretionary purchases
Smokes pretty well, not too hot. The clay bit is a little different - sticks to the lips till it gets wet. I think I'll coat it with some paraffin or some such.
You oughta know not to stand by the window, somebody see you up there.

Pipesandcigars.com has a good sale on Peter Stockebye tobacco right now. I picked up some Navy Flake, Bullseye, and Luxury Twist.

Ironically the sale at P&C is costing me more per order as I get 3lbs at a time x $1.56. P&C is smart to gather more smaller purchases of a great baccy lineup.

I am a Peterson Collector But with my now financial situation: To satisfy my PAD I bought a 10-pack of Missouri Meerschaum seconds. I really don't need anymore pipes. And I may sell off a few to get something new. It so hard to let go sometimes.

Hi Craig,
P&C raised Stokkebye prices about a month (or so) ago and the Luxury Navy was selling for $45 for a 1.5-lb box and $1.80 in 5-lb quantities.

I suppose I should be happy I loaded up before then. I just know this tax thing is going to bite us and my goal is 20lbs each of PS 23b&b, lux bullseye, lux twist before it happens. I have other blending types I need too.
