I picked up a lot of those from eBay as well. They should be here next week. Looking forward to playing with them!

I've been documenting my progress in the do it yourselfers forum - if you do any refinishing on them, pls share pix.

Hey, might have been you that out bid me...thanks. Needed that like a hole in the head. Speaking of things I didn't need, I picked up two lots of clays from him. Really just wanted one, but I pulled a dummy move. Anyway, I just received an unexpected message from lapyap saying I am getting a refund. Turns out, he is sending a partial refund and shipping them together. Got to admit, I'm a little impressed.
Happy as if I had good sense.

That's a funny shade of green. Nice pick up on the pipes!

Bummin' a smoke
Hit the go button on a tin of Peterson's Irish Flake. Descriptor sounds good, so I thought it'd be nice to try.

Formerly known szyzk
Because of the jerks in the other thread I couldn't stop myself from clicking "YESYESYES SEND IT TO ME NOW!" on this (although not from SP, this is just a better pic):
It's a Stanwell Hans Cristian Anderson with a sort of canted Dublin not-quite-a-Zulu bowl. I've always wanted a slightly more proper Churchwarden than the semi-Church McCarter I have now, and this fits the bill. Now I just need to track down a 9mm adapter 'coz this guy doesn't use filters.

what is your latest pipe purchase
Somehow I managed to blow almost 300 on some pipes, filters and one tin of baccy. I started pipes less than a month ago damnit. Haha. Cheers. Pictures to follow.
I should add I received a bonus from work and that more than covered this "responsible" purchase.

Wow, Someone Knows Me
I ordered a flat bottomed Decatur Rustic Poker and it arrived Wednesday along with 5 tins of Frog Morton (Froggy Went A Courtin' Sampler.) I've only tried the "On the Bayou" so far but really enjoy it.
The pipe disappointed me however as the stem is too heavy and the bowl doesn't sit flat on the table; this is the reason I purchased this shape: to be able to set it down!
It was an inexpensive (read: cheap) pipe and I guess you get what you pay for.
