Ordered another 10 pipe grab bag, ( third in two months), and a straight stem General. The bag is to share with pipeless friends, the General is for me.

LOL, addictive, isn't it? I've bought a couple of these.

Just received my latest P&C order:
1 oz Daughters and Ryan Picayune - strong!
1 oz D&R Cockstrong bcs I thought it would... never mind, didn't work
1 oz Captain Black Cherry - for blending, but tried some straight - not too bad
1 pouch Virginia Gold Cherry - also for blending, haven't tried it yet.
    4 replacement MM stems

I just received a smoky gray mini-churchwarden forever stem for my cobs. The tenon is a bit off-center, but I still like it a lot. It looks really nice.

It's that time of year when I stock up on cobs. Memorial Day weekend is when we have our big annual get together up north in the hills. There are usually about 40 people there and although few of the women will indulge, most of the men, even nonsmokers, will have a bowl or two. One of my friends supplies cigars and I supply pipes and tobacco.

A couple of pics of my latest acquisition, a Neerup bent apple. My wife surprised me with it earlier this week. She said I'd looked at it so many times she wanted me to have it. I didn't realize I'd looked at so many times; it's what inspired the eyeballin' thread.

That's a beaut, Ryan. Not many pipes REALLY grab my eye, but that one sure does. Love the little adornment, and that stem is very unique. Perfect blast and some purty ring grain. Congrats!

    Hi Ryan,

Lovely pipe with some nice grain and you proved a point in your narrative - you married a good woman! Nice!
