Nording pipes on sale
I have wanted a Nording pipe since I saw that they existed. I like the lines and the classic bowl and stem shapes. So I got an email from Pipes&Cigars with a sale price of $59 for Nording Viking Smooth pipes and I had to take a look. SOLD! At this price I decided to get two. Now I have buyer's remorse and just need a little pick me up from those with more experience than I have. Did I make a good purchase?
I got the Natural Rhodesian and the Orange Dublin

I would say you did, I have a couple that look similar to those and have not been disappointed. Good pipe for the money I think
Couple of things I've learned. I like good Bourbon and hate wet toilet paper.

I think you did very well. I have a Nording Signature Freehand that has a smooth natural finish and is a very good smoker. And both of those pipes are very attractive.

Jumpin’ Railcars and Collectin' Cans
I have only one Nording but it's in my regular rotation and one of my favorite smokers. I'm sure your buyer's remorse will fade quickly once you've smoked them. Good pipes at very good prices.

I have a Signature Freehand as well and it smokes wonderfully. the only issue I had with mine was the "precarb" finish in the bowl, it imparted a really dry and parched mouth feel that I couldn't smoke out. If you have the same issue just scrape it out with a pocket knife and you're golden after only a few smokes.
I'd say you got a damn good deal on 2 awesome pipes!

The past few weeks have gotten expensive between cigars and pipes/tobacco. I have to shut my computer off and disconnect Paypal.
I do really like the two pipes I bought (online only so far as they are en route to me now). They look like what I wanted out of a pipe. I had been saving for a Savinelli 320KS Pianoforte but that will have to wait. Good Lord that's a great looking pipe. But these two are classy, classic, well made and will be really good smokers I'm sure.
Thanks for the positive comments!

They are really nice looking pipes. Some of the finish is not perfect on one side of the Dublin but its barely noticeable. After a few bowls and a cleaning you'd never notice I think.
I smoked the orange Dublin this morning with some EMP and it was very good. The draw was good and for a new pipe the taste was better than I expected.
I'll be smoking the natural Rhodesian later with some Frog Morton OTT.

Nice looking pipes there. Glad they're smoking well for you.
I only owned one Nording, a freehand. I loved how it looked but the drilling was very poor and it didn't smoke well at all, so I sold it away.
I still miss how that pipe looked though, jeez it was pretty...but I don't believe in wall hangers. I believe in smokers
