I had a great time at the show! On Friday night I showed up at the party and didn't know a soul but sat down next to some people and soon made friends with Mark and Kyle (his son) Janke. I made some more acquaintances and recognized at least 5 or more faces from YouTube. I met Jere (Grandpa Smokin' Bones), Rick Black (Rick Black Pipes), The Dagners, Tim (Oregon Piper), Basil (Reddog Pipes), Alex (Birdman 5691), Eric and Rachel Klodt (Klodt pipes) and Joe Case (JoeCasepipes.com) and several more.

It was funny; I had made reservations at the hotel and completely forgotten about the show until the Thursday before when I looked at my calendar and remembered. I called at 8 pm to try to cancel but the cutoff time was 6 pm. They said that it was too late and that I would be charged for the room, so I decided that I would go to the show after all. Fortunately my girlfriend was able to house sit or else I would have had to board my dog for three nights. My only regret is not staying the second night for the Saturday night party.
