March Tobacco of the Month Nominations
Greetings and salutations my fellow BOTL's (and SOTL's). This is the month when we celebrate all that the Irish have to offer! So in honor of St. Patties day, let's see your favorite Irish tobacco, or Irish blend (do these exist? LOL). Or just nominate what you like to celebrate St. Patrick's day with!
I will start the nominations with:
Petersen's Irish Oak - A rich blend of Cavendish, Zimbabwean, Orange, Thailand Burley & Black Perique, matured in Oak Sherry Barrels. Made in Ireland.

I would like to nominate Petersons Founder's Choice, formerly known as St. Patrick's Day Limited Edition 2015. I only had one tin of this and loved it; couldn't find any more to buy. Fortunately, Peterson decided to keep this blend in the lineup named as Founder's Choice.

Peterson's Irish Whiskey seems appropriate even though I've never tried it....

Hmmm, never thought about a favorite smoke for St. Patrick's day. I'll have to pick Blender's Gold Peach Melba. Being Irish, and my Grandfather who was Irish smoke it and it was his favorite...I still have some left that he gave me many many years ago when he found out I smoked a pipe. Out of his 8 children, and dozens of grandchildren, few great grandchildren, I was the ONLY one in the family who took up a pipe.
I know there is no way in hell, this tobacco can make tobacco of the month for the group, but for me, it just did. THANK YOU Chris for starting the topic.

I'll go with Peterson Irish Flake, since you already offer up Irish Oak.

Great group of tobaccos guys!
Petersen's Irish Oak - A rich blend of Cavendish, Zimbabwean, Orange, Thailand Burley & Black Perique, matured in Oak Sherry Barrels. Made in Ireland.[/QUOTE]
Petersons Founder's Choice - This is one of the three new tobaccos known as the "Founders Collection" produced to honour Charles Peterson, Henry Kapp and Fredrick Kapp on Peterson's 150th anniversary in 2015. It is a mixture of Virginia, Burley and Oriental tobaccos pressed and cube-cut, then mixed further with Black Cavendish and flavored with Rum and the aromas of Mango and Vanilla.
Samuel Gawith Bothy Flake - A traditional blend of pressed Virginias with a hint of Latakia and a dash of Highland malt whiskey make Bothy Flake a medium strength, aromatic and easy smoking tobacco.
Peterson's Irish Whiskey - A traditional Irish blend. Burley leafs from Africa, Brazil, India and dark fired Kentucky from Italy, lightly flavored with Irish Whiskey for a unique aroma.
Blender's Gold Peach Melba - All Natural Tobacco, Cool Smoking, Even Burning, Without a Bite! A rich blend of imported and domestic tobaccos enhanced with a smooth Georgia Peach flavor. Superbly aromatic with no bite. Guaranteed mild and pleasing.
Peterson Irish Flake - A full bodied blend made of equal proportions air-cured, flue cured, and dark fired. True to the pure, unspoiled tobacco taste. Recommended for the experienced pipe smoker.
