I wouldn't buy one, so no worries. Why would I want my briar to be more fragile?

If I get one, I think I would spring for one of those dimpled billiards. I like the look of them, and I like how the African Meer colors. What I don't care for, are the prices

You understand, I am not here as an enabler - only here to try and make the odds go your way if SOMEONE ELSE is a PAD enabler.

Last meer I bought (a "cheap" but large/large Paycok dublin with clamshell case) was at a B&M in JAX/San Marco a few years ago - thought $90 was high for a Paycok but the pipe was exacty what I was looking for.

Holy Guacamole! The closest thing from Altinok is about $170-$190; Paycok runs around $120 (however, the patriotic bejewelled bulldog trinket box is a close out bargain - something for the bosses birthday?

Got both of these together for $43 shipped on Ebay a couple of months ago. The detail on the left one is amazing. They have been smoked but carefully handled. Sorry, can't smoke them, getting over a cold.

Officially kicking off MMM with some Solani Silver Flake in a no-name straight lattice billiard. This pipe is going to get a workout this month.

I was just smoking some homemade twist in an Altinok meer when I came across this thread. Since it's March already, I guess I'm participating

I also have a cheap mini-meer that smokes pretty well. And numerous MMs, which is what I mainly smoke.

    What do I win?

Congratulations! Your prize is the admiration and adoration of your peers, as well as countless "ooohs" and "ahhhhs" and "nice pipes". In order to claim your prize, you must post pictures of these pipes as proof.

    Meer Pron, as requested:

Altinok Meer, had it a few months, starting to get some color to it.

Mini meer; I had my doubts when I first got it, but it's a great little smoker!

My latest batch of MM seconds. Yes, you're only counting 9 - I gave one to a BOTL co-worker

    Still Meer-less, not cobless though

Looking to fix the Meer-less part...but I can't spend anymore on pipes this month...I am already way over budget
