It made it! And just in time for IPSD too. Hope you enjoy them. http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u...ys/rauch10.gif
IMO the ODF and FMC are almost a slam dunk. The others; well you might like them right off or they may grow on you... or not. Never can tell. If you don't like any of them then I concede you REALLY don't like latakia (or other smoky tobacco) MAY IT NEVER BE!! http://i975.photobucket.com/albums/a...psdb9cf18f.gif http://i975.photobucket.com/albums/a...psdb9cf18f.gif http://i975.photobucket.com/albums/a...psdb9cf18f.gif
Frog Morton Cellar is very nice. I'm just wrapping up a bowl of it in my Country Gentleman.
Thank you!
Ok. So I've had the Frog Morton's Cellar twice and really like it. I've had the Dunhill EMP twice and really like it. A lot. I've had the Samuel Gawith Navy Flake and the Old Dark Fired once each and liked them too. I have yet to to try the Pine Grove but intend to do so in the morning.
Thanks again Emperor Zurg!
Just had my first bowl of Mac Baren HH Latakia Flake today. Definitely not a Lat bomb but a mellow sweet blend complimented by Latakia.
Well cool! That's batting 800 even if you don't like the Pine Grove :D
The EMP was the one I had doubts you'd like. Once you get a bit more accustomed to latakia, you MUST give Nightcap a try. It's heavier on the lat to be sure, but it's got some wonderful buttery, spicey and peppery notes as well. I love the stuff. It does tend to bite me a bit so I don't reach for it often but I really enjoy the flavor when I do.
Let me know how the Pine Grove fares. Glad I've cost you money, lol!
Yup, your generosity cost me about $70. Thanks?
;)
Well think about what a bowl costs compared to a premium cigar.
You're SAVING money by spending it... or something to that effect.
Trust me, your wife would probably understand. It's just like a sale!! :D :D
Glad you're enjoying the samples at any rate.http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u...ys/rauch10.gif
Ha! Yes, my cigars are starting to pile up now that I only smoke one a day.
Thanks again!
Another thing you might try is getting some blending Latakia and mixing it in various proportions to some of your aros and other non-lat tobaccos. I've found this to be a good way of rehabilitating the duller blends.
