Honestly, if she is married to you then I wouldn't question her pipe or tobacco knowledge at all.

My guess is that if you took someone who never smoked a thing in their life in the same room as you, that at some point osmosis would take affect and they would have some new found knowledge

I'm chuckling because you're kinda right. We met over Dunhill Menthol cigarettes.
She was a Kool smoker, I told her that the Dunhills were better and then I had to sell them to her at cost because she couldn't afford the difference. She worked the store for years too.
