They stack pretty well. They come in packs of 4 and are kind of hard to find. I found some at Cooking.com:

I got these, and they seem to hold about 2oz. I don't pack it in the jar super tight though.

That's on par with my experience. I get 8oz in a quart jar. The only blends I have to really pack are ribbon cut Virginias. Cavendish and flake easily fits.

Well yes, if there is tobacco in the seal you are correct it will not close air tight :p

A 100g tin of flake will fit easily into these. I try to stick to this size, so I can open one jar and smoke it while letting more of the same tobacco continue to age uninterrupted.

in my opinon yeah they "stack" but they dont sit into each other so its not a nice stack like regual canning jars. i used to use these when i started and stored my tobacco stuff in a small cabinet. one day i opened the cabinet and two jars fell onto the floor.

Another good point, if you keep opening your jar it will eventually stop sealing itself. The leaf will stay fresh (moisture content) but if you're going for looong term storage you might find you blend tastes different in years to come.

he was refering to boiling it after puting the tobacco into it like you boil jared food to get the seal.
