Yeah, C&D comes up with some real original names. Bow-Legged Bear and Cross Eyed Cricket are some that come to mind. I will post up reviews when I get around to trying them. I have a huge backlog of open stuff that I have to start working my way through before I open up anything new.

I didn't take any pictures of my haul, partly because I thought there was nowhere to share the joy, until today.

Kept my P&C purchase light for IPSD because I had spent nearly $400 there a couple weeks before. Also, from spite because I thought their goodie box giveaway was a poorer judgement from the way they've done it in the past. Fewer freebies, given to more customers, starting on the 20th itself (midnight EST) would have been cooler. Most pipers were still at work and didn't know about the new situation on the afternoon of the 19th by the time all the boxes were gone.

So I got a 5-pack of horseshoe nails, because besides being good tampers, they make perfect snuff spoons.

And I took advantage of the sale on H&H Signature blends, which combined with the 15% made for great savings. 8oz cans each of Obsidian, Strikeforce and Virginia Spice.

1 2oz tin of F&K English Chocolate, which I'm glad to say is a terrific blend. Va + Lat with a Chocolate topping. A delicious flake.

4oz each of Moonshine Pipe Co XXX, C&D Crowley's Best, C&D Havana Daydream, F&K Lancer's Slices, and Newminster Norway.

I wanted to get a bunch of the on-sale McClelland's but only one opportunity is give to enter a discount code at checkout, so I decided to pass on it this time.

No pipes. All tobacco, much of it bulk and large tins. Happened to have a small windfall of funds so I picked out a bunch of items from my tobacco wish list, and to add more tins of things I know I like a lot (ie. Frog Morton Cellar, EGR Pipe Blend, PS Lux Bullseye Flake).

As for pipe acquisition, I recently found out I live less than an hour drive from the famous J.M. Boswell pipe shop, so maybe some time this Spring I'll drop by there and consider a new pipe (and indulge in some more TAD).

    Ok guys,

Some more of you need to post up what you got in your IPSD surprise box, so the rest of us can live vicariously!
    Let's see those pics!

Nevermind. I somehow missed Tobias' post. Are they all the same as his?

My IPSD box just arrived today because my order was back ordered and pre-ordered mix. WOW, I saw your pictures Tobias but it really didn't sink in until I opened the box. P&C went nuts!

How do you like that IPSD bulk blend?

I haven't tried any yet, to be perfectly honest. I jarred it up and sat in the cabinet for now.
