Hey guys.
Great news today.

I don't meet many people who share the cigar/pipe hobby and was surprised the other day in Spanish class. I'm exchanging pleasantries with a guy as we're leaving class for the day and he mentions that he's about to go home and light up a cigar. Obviously my interest was peaked but I half expected him to be talking about cheap gas station machine mades.

Boy was I wrong. This guy is serious about it and he has good tastes in cigars with Padron and Tatuaje topping his favorites. So we chat about cigars and local B&Ms and exchange phone numbers with plans to meet up and let the smoke out of a couple.

Today, we're talking about how often we get a stick in and I mention that I have a cigar or two a week, but find time for a pipe more days than not. He says his uncle smokes a pipe and although he loves the smell, he hasn't tried one before. The thing that was holding him back was purchasing that first pipe.

So naturally I start singing the praises of MM cobbs and he says he's going to go to Walgreens pick one up immediately.

I'm going to put him together a sampler with several different types of tobacco so he can get an idea of what he likes. He's not into infused cigars so I'm betting he's going to be a VA/Vaper/English lover like most of us.

Thought I'd share the good news.

I also found a guy yesterday! Mine was at work.
He is a beginner piper. When I asked what his favorite tobacco was, he told me about his dad's favorite which is a B&M cherry blend.
I put together a sampler last night, and I'm about to leave it on his desk.

I got a long time cigar smokin engineer on the hook..he didnt like what he saw on other forums so he never joined one..but this devil got him on the hook..

I sent a kid on r/cigars who expressed an interest in piping a couple MMs, a tool, a range of tobaccos and a ton of instructions and resources. Sort of what Pugsley did for me, just not in as grand a fashion.

Got him 12-14 samples boxed up. A wide variety from Vapers to English blends and even a few aromatics.

Spreading the good word of piping. I like it! An aussie botl popped onto one of our group pages proud of his first pipe purchase, so naturally he got a little visit from the mailman to help ensure he gets into it.
