Makes me want to buy that 4Noggins bulk sampler even more after seeing how you like them!

My favorite bulks are:
The Gatlinburlier's Mountain Mall Mix
Peter Stokkebye Luxury Bullseye Flake
Well, Samuel Gawith offers many of their flakes in bulk, so if those qualify I would say my top 3, in no particular order are:
SG St. James Flake
SG Full VA Flake
SG Navy Flake
The one that I keep going back to that is only a bulk blend and not offered in any other packaging that I'm aware of is:
PS Luxury Bullseye Flake
Basically anything from C&D is my favorite bulk!
I've wanted to try SG blends for a while. But, I'm scared... Because the last time I tried an English flake, Ennerdale, I fell in love and decided I needed at least a pound, no matter if it's almost 60 bucks a pound compared to my usual C&D blends (26 during smokingpipes.com sales... bargain). I just can't afford to fall *too much* in love with em.... Oh well, a bowl or two a month can't hurt tooooo much!
Bryan, you make a good point about what we think of as bulk, or what mixtures are available as bulk (like the Sam Gawith Navy Flake). The definition is subjective and my sensibilities probably derive from my store where we bought in larger quantity. Going forward, I'll consider anything not in a vacuum tin and over sample size (2 oz) as bulk.
I've always thought of Marlin Flake as a tin (and still do) but last year I bought a kilo that was factory packaged in only heavy plastic (no box).
My favorite bulk would probably be Gawith Hoggarth Louisiana Flake in 500 gram boxes (factory packaged) and in not factory packing perhaps McClelland #2110.
I don't consider any of the stuff available in tins to be bulk, regardless of how it's sold, but if I did my answer would be an emphatic Ennerdale Flake. Pretty much anything by G&H, honestly, but yeah, definitely Ennerdale.
As to what I do consider bulk, tobaccos not available in tins: any of the Stokkebye Flakes and/or their Aromatic Dutch Slices and/or Lancer's Slices and/or PL Bengal. Really it just depends on my mood. Though, I did get my first whiff of Newminster 403 yesterday and if it burns half as well as it smells when unlit it may be a contender.
