Anyone have any experience with Lorenzo pipes?

I'm wanting to grab a few more everyday pipes and saw someone post this on one of the pipe smoking Facebook pages.

Does anyone have any experience with these?

    The price is right.

I have purchased an unfinished Savinelli Series III, which is kind of along these lines and I love the thing. I smoke it more than my Punto Oro and my pre-Republic Peterson.

I have some experience with them. Back in the early nineties I was learning how to re-stem and repair pipes under a retired pipe repairman and he used to go on and on about how good smoking they were. Said they used to be one of Savinelli's major competitors in the Italian pipe market and were very popular in the 80's. He sold me a used one and it did smoke well. I don't know about the ones that are coming out now though.

    Thanks amigo.
I think I'm going to go ahead. For $13 and some change each, I don't know that you could go wrong.

Even if they are not flawless smokers, they are pipes I could leave in the truck or have a briar to take to deer camp and not worry too much about them.
