Shallow, empty Cuban 10ct HDM box with slide lid removed, and 2 cedar dividers. Plenty of room for a full bowl of 3 tobaccos spread out for quick, even air drying from the top, and dry cedar absorbing from the bottom. I keep the bag for each blend next to it so I remember what I'm smoking, lol

The one I'm most interested in trying of the ones I bought is the middle one: Mac Barren HH Old Dark Fired Ready Rubbed. Smell is delicious. Reminds me of the smell of a nice campfire.

Cut is a little different on it. My others are all thin, flat ribbons, while this one is longer, roundish pieces, not that it matters I'm guessing, just the only one that is a little different and curious to see how it burns compared to the thinner stuff.

So that, plus Sutliff 502 Medium English (bottom) and Gawith, Hoggarth & Co. Kendal Dark (top). That one is the finest/thinnest of what I've seen so far. The Sutliff is more like the others I've tried so far with thin ribbons like it went through a paper shredder, lol.

So far, drying time has been about an hour until smoking. These 3 are all overnight dried just to start dialing in a good time estimate for the average wetness tobaccos. So far everything has felt just slightly moist and very pliable, and a couple bowls straight out of the bag smoked just fine, just needed a lot of relights as you would imagine, with a bit of stirring and light tamping.

1 hour made a noticeable difference in combustion, needing about half as many relights and unburnt Tobacco from stirring was deeper down than straight out of the bag.

Curious to see how overnight works out. its definitely dry, but not crumbly dry, so I think it will burn nice and evenly and with few relights and stirring required.

The generously gifted from one of the cigar forums, recommended I try some of the straight Virginia and Virginia blends that he sent, next. No idea on the age of each baggie of his tobaccos, but he said previously that everything was 10 to 13 years, so will not only try my first Virginia's, but we'll aged ones to boot. Curious how it will compare to the Fresh stuff, and if the aging has a similar effect that aging Cigars does. I would think pretty similar with increased smoothness, and changes in flavor from the various tobaccos marrying.

I friggin love cigars
