How to destroy a tin of Solani Silver Flake: another senior moment.
Got a tin of 3.5 oz. tin of Solani Silver Flake today in the mail. The tin didn't appear to be hermetically sealed like most other tins. So I figured I'd put it in a vacuum sealed bag to keep it from drying out. I didn't realize that my vacuum-sealing device would almost totally implode the tin! Guess I'll be jarring this.

Vacuuming sucks......
Like my father before me, I will work the land,
And like my brother before me, I took a rebel stand.

Looks to me like it's sealed as well as it would be in a jar

You have a point there. I haven't cut open the bag yet; maybe I'll just leave it be. I have it in two more layers of zip-locs.

I had wondered about putting a tin in a vacu-sealed pouch,,,,,,now I know.
