Very nice collection of cobs!

While I don't have the exotic collection of cobs you have, in addition to the many used cobs in my collection, I almost always have 6 to 10 unsmoked cobs on hand waiting to be sent in to action. In short, you can never have enough cobs, and can certainly never have too many.

Great collection of cobs there!
I don't have any fancy ones, just a bunch of good ol' cobs. Probably 15 or 20. I love my cobs. They smoke wonderful, dry, and take a beating like no other pipe.
I don't own any of those Old Dominion cobs, but I like the look of them....unfortunately I have heard they have major burn out issues....like within 10 bowls they pretty much spontaneously combust while sitting in your rack bad....How are yours holding up

Same here.
I've been known to smoke 3 bowls consecutive with no rest in a cob. I would never do that with a nice briar.
If the cob burns out, who cares. They're cheap. At least mine are. Those in the OP don't look too cheap.

Ditto. And I tap them on the ashtray when emptying them. Would never do that with a briar or meer.
I've bought a couple of the 10-packs of MM seconds; still have most of them. I keep a number of them unsmoked for guests and newbie starter kits (cob, wooden golf tee, pipe cleaners, stick matches, and tobacco samples).
You oughta know not to stand by the window, somebody see you up there.

Eventually you'll want to get a proper tamper/scraper tool, but a wooden golf tee will do in a pinch
I got that idea from a Pufferette who does not seem to have found her way to the new site.
