I apologise if this topics already been covered but...

I like picking up used pipes from estate sales. It seems to be a good way to pick up a decent pipe cheap.

So I recently got a Kaywoodie Briar pipe and looking for advice cleaning it. What I've done in the past is wash the outside it soap and water. I then scrape out the bowl as best I can. Flush it with hot water and use pipe cleaners on the innards. Is this about it? Any other suggestions? Thanks
