Book I'm currently reading. True story about a young man who was found near death on the shore near where I grew up in the mid 1800's. His legs were amputated and he would never reveal to anyone who he was or where he was from.

Finished the first one a while back and am in the middle of the 2nd one right now. Loved the first book, and the 2nd is just as good so far. Great recommendation!Quote:

Louis L'amour is pretty darn popular for his Western novels and I have read most of them. This one is probably my favorite. It's in more modern times and has a Sci-Fi element. Great book.
