If the bags have sealed nicely, you should never have a problem in the future. However, If you have any serious concerns, you can double seal each bag by manually placing the bag on the sealing/heating element, about a 1/4" forward of the original seal and then just use the sealing feature to create a second seal, about a 1/4" from the 1st seal.

I'm sealing some with vacuum and some without based on how moist they are going in and time before expected use.. Thanks for the tip on the double sealing. The Nesco machine seems to work great and I'll buy the jar attachment (same as Food Saver I believe) for masons. I'm indebted to you and I'll let you know anything of note but I'll be happy to live long enough to make any meaningful discoveries.
