    Got bored

    That's pretty cool! How'd you do it? Did you make a wash with a paint and then rub it off? What type of paint did you use?

    Was pretty simple after i figured out how to do it. Go raid your wife fingernail polish put it on covering the lettering I used a pretty heavy coat. Let it dry for at least an hr to harden really well, use her nail polish remover(acetone) and a cotton ball with very light pressure. I tried to paint it and wipe it off wet with no success several times. The acetone didnt seem to hurt any of the finish on the brier. I think it makes the pipe pop a little, wanted t try this awhile ago. Think this should be a factory option, makes the brand stand out.

    Interesting technique. May be able to see really faint markings.
    What are you going to call it? (you discovered it, you name it)
