That's awesome! How in the heck did you get a trailer with such a great band? AC/DC is a great band!

Seriously, that's cool! I have an old M-416 military Jeep trailer that I am (slooooowwwwly) turning into a camper trailer. I love camping and could think of nothing better than sitting by the fire smoking a great baccy in an old, beat up pipe!

Awesome, Mark! I've been playing with the idea of getting a camper for a couple years now, but I still haven't gotten to a place where I'm willing to buy the kind of vehicle I need to tow it. Maybe one day...

    Enjoy my friend!

Way to go! My girlfriend and I love camping, when we manage to get a couple of days to do it. We love our enclosed swag - essentially a heavy duty sleeping bag with a mattress and critter-proof canopy built in. Just roll it out on the ground, hammer in a couple of pegs and you're warm and dry for the night - plus once rolled up it happily slides onto the back seat of my little Subaru Impreza. We enjoy the Otway ranges about three hours from home. Nothing quite like hiking through cold climate rain forest for a day and then pulling up camp next to a running river to lull you to sleep at night.

My wife and I hit NM every spring. Wild Rivers recreation area (La Junta Point) is my favorite and a must for every trip. Making the hike down to the confluence is awesome. It's the up that suuuuucks.

But you're right, the body can't handle the ground like it used to. Within the next few years we'll be making the change from tent to camper. Enjoy!

I love camping and i don't do it as often as I'd (or my son for that matter) would like. I like to sleep in a tent and have a big giant one that is perfect. However my wife and kids got me a double "Tent Cot" this past Christmas (as I'm getting older and fatter, its harder to sleep on the ground) and though it's a big thing to carry around, it made camping so much easier this year. I can't wait until Baseball season is over for us so my son and I can get back out for a few days.
