This man is Algernon Blackwood. He was an English short story writer and novelist, one of the most prolific writers of ghost stories in the history of the genre.
Algernon was born March 14, 1869. Two weeks ago was the 146th anniversary of his birth. I feel it only right to vote for his namesake!
