759 on Ebay
I've been buying some vintage tobacco on e-bay lately, mainly old versions of OTC stuff like Velvet and Prince Albert. In the process I've been following some of the stuff that's a bit out of my price range as well. Check this out:
Out of Production SEALED Tin of Balkan Sobranie 759 Mixture | eBay
Balkan Sobranie 759 - bidding at this writing is $355 for a 100g tin. There are a few days left so I bet it will go over $400. I wish I could go back in time about 30 years and buy up a bunch of this stuff to pad my retirement! (and microsoft stock for that matter)
You oughta know not to stand by the window, somebody see you up there.

This is only a 100 gram tin and I believe that it's from the later 1980s. I have a 50 gram tin of Sobranie #759 from the 1990s that I will sell. Certain tobaccos would have been really good investments if we'd only seen the future .
This 100 gram tin has been packed without pressure so it will be better than my 50 gram tin that was packed with pressure. Pressure increases the rate of marrying (ageing) that diminishes the flavors of latakia. Virginia is a different story.
