Best Yard 'Gars That are not Dog Rockets

As the weather warms up and the Ice Age in the the northern US ends, why not have nominations for the best yard gars that are actually worth smoking and at a suitable price?

    Nica Libre anyone?

And I picked up a box of Bueso Odysseys at $2 apiece on the Devil Site.

Sosa Wavell is my yard gar. Odyssey as well is a good choice. Bahia Red Label I hear is not bad. I say anything that stays lit, requires no attention, and is worthy of tossing if you are not done doing what you are doing.

If you are on CBid, you can get a ton of $2 sticks or less for 5ers. I have gotten some stupid deals on some sticks. I once got $9 sticks for $5 for a 5er. The picture didn't match the description and the auction was of the description.

Nica Libre, Bahia Maduros, Perdomo Lot 826, and Diesel UHC fit the bill for me. All good, all under $3 a stick.

I may give Schizo a shot as I can get them for $2-$3 here locally in the robusto size. It would be a nice local option if I somehow run out.

I just ordered a 15 of "Nicaraguan 90+" from the devils site, they are supposedly Oliva's without the band. Spent 22 bucks on it, even if they suck I'm not out much.

I check this page just about every day or so: http://www.cigarsinternational.com/c...ro-laced-2nds/

I go with the Liga F Gordos. You gotta be on it! Once they get stock in it moves quickly. Best bargain in the cigar universe IMHO.
Mr. Simpson, don't you worry. I saw an episode of Matlock in a bar last night. The sound was down, but I think I got the gist of it.

Not to derail this thread, but do all of you actually smoke cigars while doing yard work? I've never found that enjoyable, regardless of the quality of the cigar. I understand that's not the point of the thread, just curious.

I'll smoke the Sosa Gold Label robustos quite a bit while in the yard....

Gran Habano Vintage 2002. You can get them from the C-Bid for about $33 for a bundle of 20 (either robustos or churchills) if you are patient. They show up on free fall frequently as well as the regular auctions. My go-to lawn mowing cigar.

Only because I am on a riding mower, if I was pushing a mower, hell no.

I do while blowing leaves(I use a commercial backpack blower), and I would if I used a riding mower.

I do. Mowing 5 acres on a riding lawn mower is a good few hours of smoke time. Now physical yard work, no. The cigar always goes out or I find myself puffing non stop.
