For me, probably the time I lit up a good stogie in the truck for the 90 mile commute home...forget the brand, but it was no doubt something in the $10-12 range...by the time I got to Carpenteria from Goleta, I had to pull over in the McDonald's parking lot and toss...man...never had that happen before!

I almost forgot about this one! Yeah, this is the only Tatuaje that I would not buy again.

Brickhouse for me. It tasted like someone rolled up a horse dung.

I hate to hear this. I love Conn. Broadleaf and I have a 5'er I picked up recently so I can try them, it's resting for a couple weeks more. Maybe I'll like them, who knows.

I think there's a bimodal distribution on this thread - one is actual worst-ever cigars, and the other is the serious disappointments masquerading as premium cigars. I've had plenty of the latter, but for the former, I would have to say it's a bundle I bought at a little shop in rural Honduras in the 90s. It was something like the equivalent of a few bucks for a bundle of 16 or 20. My tastes were not at all refined at the time, but this one tasted like I was smoking mud. Stuck it out for about half of one, got a splitting headache, and pitched the whole lot of them.

With cigars, you don't always get what you pay for, but you never get what you don't pay for!
You oughta know not to stand by the window, somebody see you up there.

Damn, I just bought a fiver thinking "it's a tat. How bad could it be?"
I've seen pigs in boxes and I've seen pigs raised for slaughter.

It's not horrible, but it left me scratching my head. I too tasted that "pencil" flavor.

Some people like them....you may too. Everyones palate is different. I didn't stumble upon the bad (pencil taste) reviews until after I bought them. And that is what I tasted. It is 100% broadleaf (wrapper, binder, filler)....can anyone chime in if that is the reason for the pencil taste, too much connecticut broadleaf?
