Thx for the heads up!
Probably burn one in a few weeks & then TRY to let one sleep for a while. Don't know if I can do two years, but we'll see!

I bought a box of them about 2 years ago. After the first few did not blow me away I buried them until recently. Maybe it was a fluke but the big sleep did wonders.

I agree. I wasn't impressed with my first, but after 8 months of rest is was a fantastic smoke.

I've bought two boxes in my "serious" 2 year of storing/smoking. A 24 ct of Fallen Angels & a 15 ct Casa Fernandez. I buy mostly 5'ers but I'm gonna have to start gettin a few boxes of the stuff I really like. In the 2 years, my taste has expanded, but I still like most of the smokes I started out with. I've been eyeing the Reconquista's for a minute now & finally pulled the trigger. I'm hoping to enjoy them & buying boxes will definitely allow me to enjoy some aged cigars. And I was unemployed or underemployed, for the past 5 hrs, up until 7 months ago. So buying boxes was out of the question. Plus, as I'm sure you may have experienced, storage space!

I'm definitely gong to try to sit on the last 2 for at least 6 months. Let's see what happens. Thx for sharing your experience.

Congratulations on not being under/unemployed! I went through a period of buying stupid amounts of cigars every month. I became obsessed with the auction sites and I ended up with way too many sticks and serious storage issues. The past year I have only purchased stuff I know I love while either selling or giving away all of the accumulated things I knew I didnt really want to smoke anymore. I am way more into long time aging now. Not to mention my lust for CC's. I do miss having a random box of something show up in my mailbox several times a week though.
With those Recons I would let the 1st one acclimate for a few weeks before trying it. Then let the 2nd one sit for several months. And if possible let the last one chill for a year or more. Its a lot of fun to see how time can change a cigar
