Got these in the other day, needed to up my AJF stock for the upcoming month long. Nothing fancy, but I may grab a few boutiques from them to round out the month we decided to do it. Also grabbed a 6pk each of La Barba Purple & Red, since they are being cut. I need to find a box or 2 of the Purples, soon.

Well...I noticed the bids were kind of low, so I placed bids on two different lots thinking I would get sniped out of one if not both. It didn't happen.

Turns out the bids were low because of the new 50 cents per stick taxes, and I didn't read the fine print.

Surprised CI collects it. NY is 75% cigar tax but last I knew all the online places collected was the 8% sales tax. If they all start collecting the real cigar/tobacco taxes then yes, they will successfully kill the online business. I've been watching this for awhile and it is coming at some point.

Yes, now on top of the sales taxes, there s an additional excise tax. I can't complain that much given its 6% sales and 32% excise (up to 50 cents), I know most other states have it worst.
