Chris,You are not the only one "trying" to stay with the smaller ring gauge cigars ,I too try, but still wind up with some of the bigger RG smokes, tell Myself they make for nice long smokes at Night (self ain't buying that line) at least We do have a few cigars to burn.Cheers, Bob.

Bob,
A good majority of what I smoke on a constant basis, have RGs 50, and below. However, as you know it’s not always the case, especially if it’s something new, or a limited release, where options are few. If the stick is good, I don’t mind going up to 52, but that’s typically my limit.
