I’ve never understood why they close the foot, but they usually burn off just fine. Occasionally I do a pre-light draw and think it’s plugged only to find it’s closed

Lol, that's exactly how i noticed this one. Was about to break out the PerfecDraw when I noticed the thin wrapper covering the foot. Once again peeled it off with a fingernail easily.

I agree its a little odd to have a closed foot.
