A 5er of CAO LX2 lanceros. Think I've only had 2 LX2's before, but I sure like em, and Steve @Old Smokey has me curious about lanceros

Got an Oliva 10 cigar sampler with the branded lighter, bought an x5 herfador, Smoking Monk IPA 5er, and a box of Melanio robustos. I'm done for a while...

Haven't been buying much lately, but in the last week or so I received a bundle of L'Ateliar Trocadero, Mazo of MUWAT +11 and with the Mazo I received 15 free cigars. 3 each of JdN Antano, Nica Rustica, MUWAT, Undercrowns and KFC....

So a little while back, I posted that I was having my second Hammer + Sickle (Tradicion Serie) and I really liked it. I've been trending to more mild cigars right now (seems to go in cycles for me), so I decided to pick up a box. I was greeted with some of the most insane packaging I have ever seen for a cigar.

It started off simple enough, a nice outer box, with a magnetic closure. Pretty cool.

Upon opening the box, this is what you see:

A glass crystal box, nicely enveloped by some satin type soft material...

    This box is nuts.

    Very cool packaging.

I even got a free heavy crystal ashtray with the purchase:

All in all, a very cool purchasing experience. The first two of these I smoked previously I really liked, so looking forward to seeing how these are with some time on them (this Churchill recently got a 93 in Cigar Aficionado for what that's worth).
Stop looking at them and smoke them!!!

That's pretty sick. I read an article about packaging and this was one of the examples featured. Not for me, since I'm way more into just how much I like a cigar, but pretty damn cool. I don't care for packaging stuff, but I can see a huge collector market for that stuff.

Yeah, I like cool packaging, but the cigar itself is all I really care about. I didn't even know they came like this initially.

Picked up some Siempre PC to stash away for winter short smokes, and a 5er of the Smoke Inn/DE Micro Blend Pope of Grenwich. Already ordered another bundle because they're really good even without rest!
