Sweet!! Pretty positive my local isnt in good standing with Fuente- they never get new shipments in and said theyre still waiting on stuff backordered from last yr! Theyre a bit overpriced anyways…guess i gotta try to find a new place further away

Mine doesn't get a lot of Fuente, but they have good prices. They won't ship, but I will keep and eye out for you in case I can help. I will be by there again tomorrow and he should have his new shipment in the humidor by then. He was just processing it when I was there. I think he got some Eye of the Sharks if your interested. Came in Saturday.
All too often I take too long to post shortly after buying something that often leaves Me wondering how the heck I'm seeing more of a brand or size than i can account for.
Haven't smoked more than a handful of Dominicans lately. Smoked and liked some other DBL cigars and figured the Del Rey Habanos at 5x50 might be a good choice in this cold weather.
No longer have a gauge but these cigars look more like a 47 or 48 ring gauge to me.

I rarely smoke cigars, the few I do burn tend to be made by Don Pepin Garcia in Nicaragua it's time to add some variety.

Understandable then, everyone's tastes are different, but I think you'll enjoy the Rojas and the rest of them.

Ditto for me too if you don't mind messaging me the details also.

For $20/mo, for that caliber of smokes, I would would highly likely finally pull the trigger on it for a COTM Club. Everywhere else I see people using is in the $30-$40 range (not that that's a bad price for what I see people receiving)

So with my son joining the Navy I decided to pick up a box of these. Will have my first at the end of his boot camp and another once he is done with his training.

I was navy from 2001 to 2009, and would love to get a box of those, even if the cigars sucked. Would love it if you could pm me info on where you got them from

Would be a great addition to my little bit of navy memorabilia decorating my room, and being navy and cigar related at once is perfect.

Do have one navy cigar that was made for a special event at someone's shop, and was generously gifted her last navy one, plus 2 Marines to smoke, although I gave one to a cool, old Vietnam Veteran Marine who is a pipe smoker but occassionally has a cigarillo. Put a big smile on his face, and he plans to hang on to it.

He even introduced me to his son when he visited recently and told him I was the vet who gave it to him, so he must have shown it off.

The kind lady who sent them to me was also very happy she helped make a combat vets day.

And good on your son for serving, especially in the best branch of the military.

I'm sure he will love it. I certainly did and would have stayed the full 20 years if my knees hadn't gone bad and was not allowed to reenlist.

Nice. My mother refuses to encourage my cigar smoking, even though I have explained that you don't inhale the smoke, and sent links to like a half dozen peer reviewed studies, showing cigar smoking poses no additional health risks.

She did combine her Christmas money with my sisters, and everything on my list was cigar related, so I'm guessing she didn't know what she was helping to buy me, lol


Your mom has excellent taste in cigars. I see a lot of real winners in there.
