Bummin' Around
I haven't been buying much for a while, as I have WAY too many cigars. Of course, that never stops us from buying more... Suddenly, I've been back in buying mode - I bought a jar of Viaje Zombie Antidotes recently, and I just picked up this assortment. Self control is beginning to wane again I guess.
I'm a huge L'Atelier/Tat/Surrogates fan, so that is primarily what I picked up. Got my first pack of Travailleurs, 5 Lat lanceros, 5 Surrogates Tramp Stamps (I really should have bought a box - I absolutely love these), 5 L'Atelier Côte d' Or (very excited to try these!), 5 Lat 38SS, a Surrogates Satin Glove, and a random Inca "Secret Blend". Oh, and one each of the new Viaje Chicharrones.
The Inca I bought just out of curiosity - it is a Peruvian puro. I don't think I've ever smoked Peruvian tobacco, so no idea what to expect. Just figured I'd give one a shot.
Okay... now back to NOT buying cigars.
Stop looking at them and smoke them!!!

You may I think, be quite surprised, in a good way/in a bad way with that Peruvian Puro.
Cigars I'd brought with me were almost gone, when walking around in Lima, found a Tobacanist who had in addition to cigarettes only bundles of twenty or twenty five each of uncellophaned Peruvian Puros, red hued wrapper leaf. Bought two bundles, the cigars had a unique flavour, smoked well, very nice cigars. That was back in 1971.Think the labels on the bundles were much like that on the cigar in you photo.Hope that INCA Puro is as good as those I smoked back then.
By the way that's a fine looking selection of L'atelier,Tatuaje and Surrogates...Happy smoking.

You may regret only getting one pack of the travailleurs. I need to smoke another to be sure, but I think I might like them better than the cracker crumbs
I don't have emotions, and sometimes that makes me very sad.

Awesome, thanks! Looking forward to trying the Inca Peruvian puro - it's been quite a while in my cigar smoking journey that I can say that something is truly completely new to me. Going to let it rest a bit and try it out. I did some research, and apparently these Peruvian cigars have become very popular in the UK.

I smoked the first one the other day, and you are correct! These are excellent little cigars - and they are just the right size so they are still easy to smoke (no draw issues usually associated with smaller cigars). I will definitely be keeping a pack around at all times. I plan to pick up a pack of Cracker Crumbs as well, but these are great!
Stop looking at them and smoke them!!!

I'll be looking forward to see what you think of the Côte d' Or. I am looking to try them one of these days.

Just looked at that Halfwheel review, from the pics and as best I can recall the look of the wrapper it does look like the ones I smoked in Peru. And his take on the how the cigar smoked and tasted are pretty much the way I recall the cigars being, strength was about on par with Cubans of that period. Just may have to find one see how this later version matches my memory of the ones I had. In trying to find a Peruvian i have smoked two, sometime ago, that claimed to have Peruvian wrappers. Not worth the matches used to ignite them. The wrapper may've been Peruvian, but whatever that wrapper cloaked was low grade indeed.
