Made in Costa Rica, but little tobacco actually comes from Costa Rica, imported from elsewhere. Undisclosed blends.
It was explained to me that Nicaragua has a 5 year clause that tobacco has to be grown there for 5 years to be called “Nicaraguan” . Costa Rica doesn’t have this rule. The guy told me the old original AJF Pinolero was actually Cuban tobacco rolled in Nicaragua that had been held there for 5 years. IDK. Could be BS. Can’t get them anymore anyway.
They had some AF DC Eye of the Bull at $14.40 each. Closest I’ve seen to MSRP. Limit of 2. It was stated they smoke the same as other DC, but paying more due to scarcity for a smaller cigar. Not for me.
