Glad to know there won't be any FOD on the runway to knock out any squat switches.

The fact that they have been getting all that money and still grow potholes is criminal. Damn Conservancy!
The shuttle ride is 45 mins, expensive, and leaves every OTHER hour. Be advised.

Yessir, the scwhetty ballsack lunges are getting popular here. Nice this week though I'm headed for the farm and temps are climbing....

Happiness? A good cigar, a good meal, a good cigar and a good woman - or a bad woman; it depends on how much happiness you can handle- George Burns

Headed into St. Louis this weekend to meet up with some high school buddies. There will be golf, whiskey and lots of cigars. I hope to revisit the Charles Stanley lounge/bar. One of the few places left in the Midwest in which that combination is allowed.
I don't have any huge vacation plans this year. I think the lady and I are planning a trip to Eureka Springs for my birthday in October. It's supposed to be a nice weekend getaway locale. I might try to sneak in a weekend trip to Vegas at some point, too.

Give St. Louis a wave for me. My wife and I are planning to fly there, with the dogs, in December to visit remaining family.
We both grew up in Belleville, IL. On the "wrong side" of the river.

Belleville? I have cousins and an aunt in Belleville...if they are still there. Don't keep in very good contact with them. Did go visit them there once many years ago.

Does this mean there's a fellow Cardinals fan on this here forum??
I miss it. I grew up in the historic suburb of Webster Groves about 15 minutes outside of the city. My two best friends have moved away, and this is the first time we'll all be back there in some time. Amazingly, I think the weather is going to be mild. The last time I was in STL during the summer, it was miserable to be outside 24 hours a day. Had to go to a few lounges to smoke. There's a few gems there if you have any free time in the city. Like I said, Charles Stanley is top notch. The Hill Cigar Company is also nice, but I find their stock to be over humidified, so I bring my own sticks. And Grand Cru in Soulard has probably the best boutique selection I've ever seen. It's a small humidor, but it's all the good stuff.

Yep - when I follow Baseball, I always check on how the Cards are doing.
StL weather is it's own thing. That's for sure. I'll be making a list from what you posted here. I sure need a getaway from the MIL and my own parents, on occasion.

Unfortunately that whole area has really swirled the toilet bowl. It's not the town I grew up in any more, and every time I go back I'm appalled at how it's changed so much for the worse.
For the sake of your family, I hope they moved.

Sitting smoking on front porch the view of the back of the Mail box is starting to bore me.
Destination, duration still uncertain, but think it's about time for a change of scenery.
Too darn hot & humid for me here...have to pick some place a good deal cooler.
Tard of these high temps & humidity.
Decided on destination...Mild climate *Cooler & less humidity.
Recent power outage meant no air con or fan...sure looking forward to a break.
Going real early Saturday 27th.
May send pix once thar.
Kinda long trip. It is so so so nice, cool, low humidity and relaxing.
Sure don’t miss heat. Slow but here are pics.
