UPS/USPS Shenanigans
Hey All,
So had a recent screw up by UPS that made me laugh and figured other people had some good ones to share.
My recent cigar bid order, I live in Metairie...
Apparently UPS decided to take my cigars on a tour of south Louisiana. Down to within 5 minutes of my house, out to Baton Rouge about an hour and 15 away and then back to the post office in my neighborhood...where it will take another day to get to me...

Gotta love it, just be glad they know where it is. We had a package get lost once it kept bouncing up and down the east coast, but never got delivered.
I don't have emotions, and sometimes that makes me very sad.

When I ship stuff 15 miles away, it is sometimes routed to a hub 2 hours away in a different direction then to destination. One of my last items received it was delivered to my PO then shipped 3 hours then shipped back. It makes me laugh.

This should have one of the mandated Elf&Safety warnings attached.
There is one helluva risk involved in trying to out how these things are routed, re routed, etc.
Some of the these errors may cause packages caught up in these C.J. to be ground down to dust by the wear and tear they get.
Sometimes the code gets misread and that package will do the Bermuda Triangle holiday tour for all the time this planet has left.
Play it safe..... assign blame to Horseshoe, pour a drink, light up a cigar, repeat as often as required until all traces of this(and with luck of you know who) have been scrubbed from your memory.
Then have at least one more drink...and hie on over to the PWI thread.

You're bringing back old memories as I lived in Metairie on Gillen Street, and went to Saint Phillip Neri Catholic school. It was close to the intersection of Power Blvd. and West Esplanade....

I moved here a little over a year ago, I grew up in Pass Christian, MS, about an hour away. My dad moved there from New Orleans to start a family...It's funny how things work out!

Yep. I'm still trying to figure out how a Cajun Asian from NOLA ended up in Oklahoma....

Why did you have to go and give him 3 new poll ideas?!?
