Travel Humidors
Do any of you guys have a travel humidor with a spot for the cutter and lighter? Not necessarily one of the airtight/hard case ones. I have a few excursions coming up (including the Orgy) and it would be nice to be able to take a few cigars and the accessories all in one thing without having to worry about them banging around together.

Not specifically a spot for the accessories, but I just put one of the foam things that comes with the travel humi between my lighter/cutter and the sticks I have in there. No trouble so far.

That would be a good solution. My wife accidentally threw out the foam dividers it came with. and I won't fly with the travel humidor I have. It seals air tight and when I fly the pressure difference seals it so tight I have to pry it open with a knife and I worry about accidentally damaging the sticks inside when I have to do that.

Yeah, that would be a pain to ruin your sticks prying the lid open. We usually drive everywhere so that hasn't been an issue.
I hear they have travel humi's with a pressure relief valve for just that problem. Not sure who makes it tho.
I do have another traveler that doesn't seal, but when I took it to Cayman a few years ago, the high humidity started making my cigars too moist and not smoke as well, so I had to throw them in a ziploc bag inside that humi.

Just close the lid on a small piece of string or heavy thread. Ought to make it leak just enough to equalize.
Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.

I have one of those Traveldor's with the pressure valve's. It's made by Cigar Mechanics. Holds about 15 sticks with foam dividers, a lot more without. My always thoughtful girlfriend found it at a Saver's store. I was shocked and excited by the pickup price $5 lol. Checked online cheapest was around $35! Dont know if they make that model anymore, but can't hurt to check around. 10 to 12 gars plus cutter and lighter with no problem's. Although once ya smoke a couple, stuff can start rattling around. But hell Just another excuse to keep it filled up.

You could try using a blowtorch
Re lighter and cutter in the traveldor with no foam padding... a bic disposable lighter and a cheap plastic cutter with rounded edges would probably not do too much damage.
You oughta know not to stand by the window, somebody see you up there.
