Yeah, that would be a pain to ruin your sticks prying the lid open. We usually drive everywhere so that hasn't been an issue.
I hear they have travel humi's with a pressure relief valve for just that problem. Not sure who makes it tho.
I do have another traveler that doesn't seal, but when I took it to Cayman a few years ago, the high humidity started making my cigars too moist and not smoke as well, so I had to throw them in a ziploc bag inside that humi.
