Have to ask, since I have never heard anyone refer to showy sticks before, what do you consider a showy stick?

My wife gave me a wooden tubo davidoff thats top shelf showy. I have a couple of Bratalia barber poles (last made around 2008 i think?) I think are a bit showy even tho that cello is a bit rough looking. I have a few other sticks like that. Then I could count my casa Fuentes and some of my other Fuentes on that level. Stuff like that.

Now the wooden tubo Davidoff I would definitely call showy, but only because of its appearance, not price, rarity or age.

Barber poles I can kinda see also. I have a Hemingway Between the Lines that I guess I could consider showy due to its appearance, really nothing else I have I can think of that I would consider showy, but I have an obviously different criteria for showy that is apparently different from the norm.

I don't usually have enough cigars on hand to do it, but I do it a couple times a year with pipe tobacco.
Inspect tins and make sure the jars are sealed up good. Make notes if I'm low on something I really like.
Also inspect pipes and clean if needed.

    It's calming and relaxing.
Check out my Youtube channel, Razorback Piper Guy if you like that sort of thing.

After Secret Santa Bob @allusred obliterated me, I've got some work to do. Thanks again Bob, you sir are a great Santa!

I am planning on doing it tomorrow, since I am great at procrastinating. Why do today when I can wait until tomorrow?

Anyone else do this on a semi-regular basis?

Well KaBob, the way my procrastinator is workin and the way Mrs Smokey keeps bossing me around, my cigar chores keep getting tossed to the back burner. Doesn't she understand that I'm a sensitive human being and have feelings and wants and needs too? I even have to cook néekid like I'm a piece of meat.

A good friend sent me a 2# bag of Kona coffee beans and the first pot is almost ready. I love fresh roast Kona beans. Then Mrs Smokey has my day planned out again. Shopping, naked cookin and cleanin. It borders on abuse, but I kinda like it. And of course my afternoon nap.

That I certainly do. I like having them separated by type, like ER's, EL's, over 5 years aged cigars, cc's, Fuentes, and nc's, singles and boxes. It makes it much easier to know where something is, and easier to choose what category I'm in the mood for.

I have a meager collection compared to many here though, so its easier for me than it would be with the massive collections some members have.

I have no idea how they can ever find anything specific, even using an inventory app or spreadsheet.

Multiple members have told me that they have more cigars than they can smoke in their lifetime.

Even when I was working in the oilfields and making very good money, i still never even approached the size of collection many have.

Kudos to those who have that many and are able to find anything, lol

This mornin she had me doin all kinda husbandry stuff. She had me check her for ticks, giver a moussage, rub her feet ,then I went lickity split and buttered her muffin fer breakfast. I used to dress up like Woody from Toy Story and she was Elvira, but it began to get a little weird.

    But now it's nap time.

    oh, that kind of “husbandry”
I was thinking of something else.
Must be my Nebraska ties to farming that led me astray.
