Strength vs Flavor
It seems somewhat that these go hand in hand, that if you want a deeper, stronger, darker flavor it comes with strength. I'm guessing this isn't entirely true though, is it?
Is there a medium strength stick that tastes like a strong dark stick?

I would disagree. there are many mild strength stick out there with lots of flavor. Off the top of my head since it is a recent suggestion that I was incredibly pleased with. the Quesada Reserva Privada was an amazing complex smoke with very little strength

I'm going to need a proper humidor soon! Just too many cigars to go through!

Johnathan I would tend to agree with you except my experience has seen it tends more to the medium bodied smokes can show full flavor characteristics. A recent favorite of mine that fits that is the Crowned Heads Tennessee Waltz. By the way I really like the Quesada reserva and the oktoberfest too.
There is an art to bombing. My aim is to perfect that art.

True it does happen more often with medium strength sticks, I was just trying to say that strength and flavor do not always correlate

There is something to be said for their relationship. The more sunlight a plant gets the thicker, more flavorful, and stronger in nicotine the top primings become. These primings as most know are known as ligero. So as the strength goes up from using more ligero your also getting more of the rich flavors that leaf brings to the blend.

I used to believe that until I started smoking CCs recently. Even the so-called full-bodied CCs are pretty medium to my palate but just loaded with flavor. As to non CC, I always considered DC Julius Caesars to be medium strength but full flavored.
