I don't keep track of what I have, but I do put a label on each with the date I put them in my humi and where I got them. I use a cheap label maker set on the smallest font - works pretty good except for the cello-less, then I have to cut them down and put them on the back of the band. I like to know how old they are, especially when I buy duplicates.
Finally a good use for the wife's label maker. I like that idea since that's the main reason I'd like to keep track, for repeat orders. Years of working retail has first in first out ingrained into my brain.
