SOA and KFC
So looking at possibly making an order for some more sticks soon as we get this mortgage dealy done and there's 2 that have caught my attention, the Sons Of Anarchy and Kentucky Fire Cured. Wonder who's had them and what your thoughts are of them. Flavor profile, strength etc on them. Prefered vitola? The facebook group I'm on has alot of bad opinions of the KFC but I've read some that like them. Worth a try?
Thanks

I love the KFC. I've had the Fat Molly and Delfinas. The Delfinas is a 26 rg that used to be $11.50 a fiver, but they raised the price around 250% so I quit buying them. Haven't tried the SOA. They're like smoking a campfire and very unique tasting...

I've read they have a very smoky taste. I thought it sounded good but the guys on the facebook site gave them such a bad rep I figured I'd ask here as well to get a broader idea. thanks

Wow, Someone Knows Me
The SoA KG-9 is one of my favorite smokes. I'm not too good at describing tastes and whatnot, but it's quite good. I've also heard that the Chapel is not very good at all.

I have only tried the KFC. About the first 3rd I thought it was ok, but by the time I hit the halfway point I laid it down. Just like smoking a campfire and I didn't like it at all. I have read others say they like them, so I recommend you buy (1) and see for yourself.

I bought a box of the SOA's and I've really enjoyed them. I also shared a box of them at a Herf earlier this year and it seemed everyone liked them too. They're not at the top of my list but definitely close to it. FWIW

will bum for cigar
kfc is not a bad cigar. its all a matter of oppinion like with any other cigar and not many people like the fire cured taste. i have had one and it was not bad. i paired it with burbon (cant remember what) and it was good. i wouldnt call it a every day smoke for me or a go buy a box but its good. buy yourself 1 and see what you think

I didn't like the first KFC I had, but had bought a 5er so thought I would give it another try. I paired the second one with a strong IPA and loved it!
In fact I need to make another order smoked my last one 3 weeks ago,

I had a Fat Molly once, didn't think it tasted near as smokey as it smelled. I would like to try some of the other vitolas.
I had a DE rep tell me they paired really well with bourbon, but I like Trace's idea of putting it with an IPA I'm more of a beer guy anyways.
I don't have emotions, and sometimes that makes me very sad.
