I don't smoke in the house, maybe one day I can talk my way into a man cave for it. I will say if you do, check out Lampe Berger I never thought much ofh them until I was in a b&m one day and a guy came in a bought one. I started talking to the guy behind the counter about them. He lit it up, put it out and I was impressed with how well it was clearing the air. Keep in mind this place is not well ventilated. They are fairly cheap and the oil for them comes in a wide range of scents and a neutral.

I don't smoke in the house for a lot of reasons (my wife hates it, some of my guests hate it, it lingers, etc.)

I mostly fire up in my garage or at a family member's home who smokes.
One game in Utah, Jordan dunked on John Stockton. Jazz owner Larry Miller yelled "pick on someone your own size." On the next possession he dunked on 7'1 center Mel Turpin and shouted "he big enough for you?"

When told that Clyde Drexler was a better three-point shooter than him, Jordan responded "Clyde is a better three-point shooter than I choose to be." Then he hit 6 threes in game 1.

I occasionally smoke in my office when it's too cold. I just open the window, shut the door and turn on my portable heater. When I'm out back grilling, I'll sometimes go in and out with my cigar. The wifey doesn't mind the smoke. Actually, she likes the aroma of most of them....

My wife asks that I not smoke in the house, and I'm fine with that mostly.

I smoked a cigar in the garage once last winter and failed to crack the door, and the entire 3-car garage reeked of stale cigar for a week even with me airing it out every night while I was home.

For me, going outside is really the only option. I too live in a hot, humid climate, and in the summer I change into shorts, flip-flops and a T and turn on the ceiling fan on my back porch.

If I were ever to set up a smoking room, I would (1) ventilate the heck out of it while smoking, and (2) remove all soft furnishings and floor and window coverings---leather and hardwood only.

How about dem misquotes? That's worse then the heat and the humidity. I too have to smoke outside on my back porch and it's not screened in. Sometimes I smoke in the garage but it's way to hot even with a fan during the summer.

This is a huge issue here. Luckily my porch is screened in but I go to my buddies house sometimes and bring him cigars and his porch is not screened in. I always come home with a dozen bites. Those No-see-ums eat me alive every time

I picked up one of these, works great, just be sure to not smoke near the furnace air intake

& dang it, now I see it's $18 cheaper than what I paid for it a few months ago.

Back when I owned my home I never smoke indoors, but now that I'm renting, I can't wait to own another home. I've already got it planned out in my head. Giant smoke room/rec room, it's going to be Legen-Wait for it-dary!!!

Smoking in your house will really show after a while. I've been in too many homes where you can tell immediately that a smoker lives there. I have no idea how my wife put up with my cigarettes when we were first married! (I quit in 1987)

I've resolved that it's outdoors or nothing, just have to learn to live with it. We don't have humidity but it's 100+ for almost 90 days a year. I sit in the shade in the evening read a book and it's no problem.

When the misquotes are out, I burn a Repel Insect Repellant Stake punk stick, available at Wally World. I can usually get three smoke sessions from one stick. Works pretty well.
