That doesn’t mean that it won’t be a working smoking office!
I can still install a TV (but why? I rarely watch).
Currently, still re-laying the wooden flooring to repair some water damage. It is an engineered strand bamboo. Essentially taking up a few rows at a time then relaying again while replacing damaged boards as I go. Fortunately, I have enough unused boards remaining from when I installed it. Honestly though, it would probably have been easier to just tear it all up and start from scratch. I was too cheap to buy all new flooring, but I’m paying for it in my labors.
I have plans to install a rustic weathered and Shou Sugi Ban wood plank accent wall. Once the floor is done, I will move my winedor, totes, and a mini-fridge into the room.

I figured now would be the time to get your smoking room squared away before winter hits.
Sounds like you're going to have a boss setup with a smoking office. I'd salute you if I was on the other end of a business video call with you.
I have no idea what Shou Sugi is, but it sounds cool.

It’s a wood treatment method by burning.
True shou sugi ban is charred. As used for decor, the degree can vary from a light burn to highlight grain, to a full on char. Used in Japanese construction as it is naturally insect, fire, and water resistant.

Did you do the charring, and is that your work and wall? Looks very very cool and I like the masculinity vibe from it.

I've always thought that was a cool technique. I like the look of the mixed chars for a wall. I may have to copy you when I get my building
I don't have emotions, and sometimes that makes me very sad.

Not much to update.
The room is being used as my home office. Doesn’t mean I can’t smoke in it! Warmer weather has not necessitated its use for smoking yet.
Did get a TV mounted with dual mounts so I can also hang it up and use it outside on my patio or on my deck. Been great for smoking and watching some football these past weeks.
Have been shopping for a through the wall exhaust fan. Plan to install it with a countdown timer switch so I can let it run for the desired time after I’m done smoking and vacate the room. May have to install an additional make-up air intake vent. It is required by code for exhausting greater than 300 CFM. Besides, it’s the safe thing to do so that I don’t unintentionally draw exhaust back into the house from combustion appliances such as the furnace and hot water heater.
Additionally, it would increase the efficiency of the exhaust. I could just open a window for fresh air, but that is not code compliant.
