Very nice cigar, but probably does need some tuppie time. Retros were aromatic and had a sweet almond undertone and maybe almond milk taste, along with a nice tobacco. No pepper, mild+ to medium. Glad I purchased.

So another great flavor profile cigar, but weird burn issues. It was like there was a carpenter's pencil inside - the outer tobacco ashed normally, but the inside had this hard, pointy core that wouldn't even tip-off in the ashtray.

Similar with the Santa. Couldn't really see the cherry brightness during lighting it, but it was smoking decently. Attributed it to wind and ROTT-wet. Smoked good but uneven during 1/2, then I started messing with it and it went downhill but still almost nubbed it. We'll see how some tuppie time treats them.

Thanks Steve!
And you are probably right. I know that I bought a few R44's and got hit with one or two here and there.
Either way, it was good!
